This is an unofficial fan account created for the purpose of role playing at ten_fwd; I am not The Doctor, who is the property of British Broadcasting Corporation. No copyright infringement is intended, and no profit is being made.

The Doctor is a Time Lord, one of a species of beings who run in and out of time for any number of reasons. Using a variety of things that allow them access to the Temporal Vortex, which is the means through which time travel is possible.

The Doctor has done so for centuries going out there in the universe for any large variety of reasons. Some of it was out of curiosity, the folly of youth or any other number of reasons. The Doctor did this by "borrowing" a time machine known as a TARDIS. Or rather, his granddaughter Susan called it that. It stands for "Time and Relative Dimensions in Space". Since then, The Doctor has gone through several changes, known as regenerations. While looking like a human male of approximately 35 years of age, his species has slightly better physical abilities and much better mental capacities. The Doctor has gone through many incarnations, each one with a slightly varied personality based on certain concrete traits. In the case of his 8th incarnation, The Doctor is very much akin to a well known John Wesley quote with extra emphasis on the "zeal". Anything big and small is done with quite a bit of zeal. But this also means the ways in which he deals with those who displease him.

However, there have been recent things happening in his life at the moment that have made him a good deal more cynical and angry than he normally is.
